Say hi to Dr. Michelle Gavin
Dr. Gavin has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than 20 years. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and developed a deep passion and love for animals from a young age. It was always her dream to pursue a career as a veterinarian.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Southern California (USC) and then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis.
After graduation, Dr. Gavin completed a rotating internship in general practice, emergency medicine, and surgery at PetCare in Santa Rosa, CA. She has experience in small animal private practice as well as shelter medicine in a nonprofit setting and surgery. Her special interests are in small animal medicine, infectious diseases, preventative care, pain management, surgery, emergency medicine, geriatric care and compassionate euthanasia.
In Dr. Gavin's free time, she loves snow skiing, hiking, traveling and spending quality time with her husband, 4 kids and 2 cats and 2 dogs.
